About me I have an emphatic quantitative background, having previously achieved a Bachelor degree in Physics, a Master in Theoretical Physics and a Master in Mathematical Finance. I am currently enrolled in the PhD program of the University of Bologna and I carry out research at Imperial College London (Department of Computing), where I am part of the Brain and Behaviour lab under the supervision of Dr Aldo Faisal. I am currently spending one year of research at USC (Los Angeles) under the supervision of Prof. Vasilis Marmarelis. My research focuses on the implementation of Bayesian computations in spiking neurons. Specifically, I am interested in the computational role of noise, adaptation, synaptic plasticity and action potentials in Brain functioning. |
